PHCC & Bargaining updates 2017

The Provincial Health Care Council (PHCC) has been busy at work planning our upcoming bargaining. Our Collective Agreements expired on March 31, 2017. Fortunately they remain in effect until we ratify new agreements.
The PHCC has been putting proposals together to present to our Employers.
Unfortunately, this labour un-friendly PC Government is not going to make bargaining easy. They have already introduced legislation that will not provide for wage increases for the next 2 years and only minimal increases for the years later.

CUPE Local will keep you up to date as much as can over the next months as this government continues to make changes. All updates, including all information from the PHCC and bargaining updates will be posted on this page.

For the most current information please visit the PHCC website at

The CUPE Local 1550 Representatives on the PHCC are Jamie Johnston and Margaret Schroeder (Treasurer of the PHCC).
